Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center Hosts Heart to Heart Talk on Valentine’s Day.

Cardiologist Felix Dailey-Sterling, Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Meadowlands Hospital gave a presentation Feb. 14, 2008 on heart health to approximately 50 physicians, nurses, specialists, patients and members of the public.

Dr. Daily-Sterling spoke on the topics of cardiovascular disease, risk factor modification and treatment options, while fielding questions from the audience. Those in attendance were also treated to screenings for body fat, body mass index and blood pressure.

This event was hosted by Meadowlands Hospital’s LifeSpan program, which works to enable patients to achieve their optimal physical, psychological and vocational health through the use of support groups, wellness screenings and educational programs. These programs include, cardiac rehab and maintenance exercise, pulmonary rehab and diabetes education.
