Jersey City Medical Center to Take Part in
Hoboken Charter School Health Fair
WHO:
The Hoboken Charter School will host the “Healthy Choices Health Fair” in conjunction with the Jersey City Medical Center, and 20 other health-related private and public organizations.
WHAT:
This health fair will provide information, resources and demonstrations that will promote healthy choices regarding nutritional, medical, physical, recreational, intellectual, financial and safety issues.
The Jersey City Medical Center will be represented by its Foundation, trauma and surgery, nursing, patient representatives, health educators, performance improvement, rehabilitation, the N.J. Sharing Network and Columbus Health Center.
Organizers expect over 600 participants to attend the fair. There will be between six and eight 20-minute workshops, including one with a cardiovascular workout, as well as a kids’ zone which will feature special activities for children.
